Dreamers
Travellers

Inspiring and raising awareness about disability.

— 01

Who are the Dreamers‑Travellers?

Women and men who are currently unable to travel and bring some of their dreams to life, because of a form of disability — physical, mental, or circumstantial.

Physical disability

DNA, accident, old age, illness. Sometimes the body cannot keep up with what the heart desires.

Mental disability

Chronic fatigue, depression, bipolarity, aphasia, memory loss… Even when the body is fine, the mind can play tricks on us.

Circumstantial disability

Refugees, family caregivers, … Each of us has to deal with the context we are dealt.

Origins

Julien and Christian Porte

May 21, 2026

The RÊVEURS‑VOYAGEURS (= Dreamers‑Travellers in french) non-profit was founded by Julien Porte together with his parents Pascale and Christian.

Christian suffered a stroke in 2020. He has been hospitalized ever since, and he dreams of walking, eating and speaking again.

So to help him keep dreaming, Julien shares his explorations with him — through images and stories.

In 2025, Julien decided to share his journeys with other Dreamers‑Travellers. 40 of them took part in the "Pyrenees Adventure — 1 day, 1 poem".

A film was released, a book was written. The RÊVEURS‑VOYAGEURS non-profit was born.

More adventures to come.
